Our Founder

The name on the door.

MRF stands for Marcos R. Flores. He started this company in Miami in 2003 with a small crew and one standard — hand the venue back better than you found it — and he has never once lowered it.

Two decades later he is still the one on the floor. He walks the venues, he knows the crews by name, and he answers the phone himself. Every briefing we write, every checklist a supervisor carries, and every crew that shows up early traces back to the way he decided this work should be done.

Everything MRF is today, he built — one event at a time.

Our History

Two decades on the event floor.

2003

MRF begins supporting events in Miami — small crews, big standards.

2010s

Becomes a trusted partner for South Florida festivals, conventions, and premier venues.

Today

Serving 100+ recurring clients with structured cleaning operations for festivals, conventions, and large-scale productions.

Our Values

What drives our operations.

Operational Excellence

Documented briefings, staffing schedules, and supervisor checklists on every event — nothing left to chance.

Always Reachable

Dedicated supervisors on radio and a direct line to ownership for every event, from move-in to move-out.

Safe by Design

Trained crews working to event-safety protocols at every venue, indoors and out.

Partner, Not Vendor

We plan with your production team, adapt as the event changes, and stay until the venue is handed back right.

Our Mascots

Three characters, one name.

Say the company out loud and you have already met them. Murph, Rio and Felix take a letter each — M, R, F — and they show up in the artwork the same way a crew shows up at your venue: early, in uniform, and ready for the part nobody else wants.

Murph, the panda mascot of the MRF crew, sweeping with a broom and dustpan
MMurph

Panda · broom and dustpan

The original. Murph was sweeping up after South Florida’s biggest nights long before he had any company, and he is the shortest member of the crew and easily the proudest of it. He takes the last pass through a room after everyone has gone home — the one nobody watches and everybody notices.

Rio, the river otter mascot of the MRF crew, wearing a backpack blower
RRio

River otter · backpack blower

Named for the river, and for the word that reads the same in Spanish and Portuguese — río — because our crews do too. Rio takes the outside work: loading docks, concourses, and parking lots at four in the morning. Being built for water helps on the night a Miami downpour arrives ten minutes before doors.

Felix, the capybara mascot of the MRF crew, holding a clipboard and radio
FFelix

Capybara · clipboard and radio

Felix means happy, or lucky, depending who you ask. He carries the clipboard and the radio, and he has never once been seen to panic — a capybara thing. When a room has to turn over between two events in ninety minutes, Felix is the one counting zones and ticking them off.

All three were made for MRF, and they do not work anywhere else. You will find them on the crew app, on the stickers our supervisors hand out, and every so often somewhere on this site.
